Saxpax
Saxpax was formed in 1983 as a sax quartet playing classical as well as jazz music. The rhythm section - piano, bass, drums were added a short time later. 29 years on the band is still going strong!
The music is varied and crosses over many of the styles of jazz including swing, be-bop, latin, west coast, fusion etc..
The players are: Rob Marks - Soprano / Alto sax / arranger, Jim Luxton - Soprano / Tenor sax, Chris Ryan - Tenor / Alto sax, Royston Massochi - Baritone sax, John Biggs - piano, Melt Kingston - Bass and Dave James - Drums.
